OUR COMPANY
Past
Dominic Francesco Repicci immigrated
to America in 1911 from Messina, Italy. Along with his family, Dominic brought
the old world recipe for Italian Ice, that he enjoyed so much as a child in
Messina, to South Philadelphia. At first, Dominic shared his family's Italian
Ice with friends and neighbors, but soon others were requesting this Italian
treat. It wasn't long before Dominic found himself busy producing the family's
unique product to meet the overwhelming demand in South Philadelphia.
Present
Dominic's grandson, Frank is
continuing the tradition of his Italian family. The main goal of "REPICCI'S
ITALIAN ICE" is to keep Dominic's passion of offering a quality frozen treat
alive. Frank opened the Chattanooga, Tennessee manufacturing plant in May of
1998. This facility initially supplied the concessions for the Chattanooga Parks
and Recreation Facility. Yet the popularity of the unique product grew rapidly,
and soon presented numerous wholesale and retail opportunities, including sports
recreation facilities, schools, fairs and festivals in Chattanooga and
surrounding areas."REPICCI'S ITALIAN ICE" has distributors in
Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi. In August of 2005, Frank developed a
franchise program to make Repicci's brand available throughout the United
States. Since offering the franchise program Repicci's now has franchisees in
Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, California,
Kentucky, Tennessee & Canada.
Future
The "REPICCI'S ITALIAN ICE" family is growing rapidly with plans of
30 franchises
by the end of 2008. "REPICCI'S ITALIAN ICE" is committed to the same quality product that
Dominic created almost a century ago. Dominic's simple treat has been cultivated
into a thriving company that produces the finest quality Italian Ice, but more
importantly, "REPICCI'S ITALIAN ICE" is committed to you, our customers. We hope
that you will be the future of "REPICCI'S ITALIAN ICE" by joining us in furthering
the tradition. Repicci's is currently a member of the ARPA, TRPA, GRPA, FRPA,
SCRPA, NCRPA and a national sponsor of Dizzy Dean Baseball, and Dixie Youth to
name a few.
